God’s Love

Everyone seeks to be loved and feel loved. Knowing you’re accepted and cared for. In many ways we all feel as if we aren’t loved enough or maybe as if we are accepted. We search for love and acceptance in many different ways. Seeking for a connection that some how gives fulfillment inside of us. Maybe it’s the love of a parent, in marriage or a relationship, through children. Possible finding connection and acceptance in a social circle.  Though as people we never truly find the love and acceptance we are searching for. That love and acceptance can only be truly found and experienced by having Christ Jesus in are lives, having the forgiveness of sin.

God so loved you and me that he sent His only Son to live as a man to have experienced everything we experience. Jesus has personally lived through everything we have and do live through. He with stood temptation.

The love God offers is beyond, what we understand and experience within are lives and what we offer each other. The searching for love and acceptance is because we cannot be fulfilled with what the world offers but can be fulfilled with what God offers. Though is is through having a relationship with God that we receive this. Often everyone wants to just have a magic wand waved and everything be perfected, what ever it is that we want we want it now and with as little effort and time as possible. Though this is superficial and there never any substance to it. By putting in effort and time real change and long lasting effects can be had. The more effort and time you put into being a joiner for instance the better you will be. If we take a short cut to try and be loved or accepted, it will crumble.

God is love and offers it freely to all. Many things make it difficult to accept the pure love God offers but it is our’s. God calls us his Children and friend. Let Gods love in that it may heal, build up faith in Him.

”so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God.“

Ephesians 3:17-19 NASB1995

”But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.“

Romans 5:8 NASB1995

”“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.“

John 3:16 NASB1995

”In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, “For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.“

Romans 8:26-39 NASB1995

”If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part; but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.“

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 NASB1995

”For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.“

Ephesians 3:14-21 NASB1995

”The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, For His compassions never fail.“

Lamentations 3:22 NASB1995

”If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.“

John 15:7-11 NASB1995

”If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.“

John 15:7-11 NASB1995

”See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.“

1 John 3:1 NASB1995

”No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.“

John 15:15 NASB1995

”The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust. As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes. When the wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its place acknowledges it no longer. But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children,“

Psalms 103:8-17 NASB1995
